Over the next 4 photoseries, join me on the Normafa tour, which is starting at the Eotvos Road and it is ending at the Elizabeth Lookout on Janos Hill. Normafa is easily accessible, as it can be reached by bus from Szell Kalman Square in 15 minutes.

The hike begins on Eotvos Road, where a clearing immediately welcomes visitors with a network of well-marked trails. As we proceed, it is worth pausing occasionally to take in the breathtaking panoramic views - including the distant silhouette of our destination, the Elizabeth Lookout on Janos Hill.

Along the way, benches offer the perfect opportunity to rest and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The forest paths are rich in atmosphere, and throughout the hike, nature enthusiasts will observe the diverse tree species, such as hornbeam and maple.

One of the key stops along the trail is Anna Meadow. This area features designated fire pits, ideal for grilling bacon or enjoying a campfire. Families will also find playground where children can play freely. With its open space and recreational facilities, Anna Meadow serves as an excellent location for family-friendly activities and relaxation.

Continuing from Anna Meadow along the forest road, we arrive at place of prayer. As we proceed further, we come upon the Chapel of the Atonement of the Victorious Queen of the World, followed by the Chapel of Saint Anna. The forest paths remain rich in atmosphere. Sunlight filtering through the canopy, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere.

After an extended walk, we reach the Janos Hill Chairlift, where visitors can relax at the Libego Presszo café. A nearby playground also provides an opportunity for children to play. Here, we are already close to the Elizabeth Lookout on Janos Hill.

Before heading up to the lookout, it's worth visiting the nearby outcropping, which functions like a terrace. From here, you can enjoy a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. There are several tables where anybody can sit and admire the panorama.

There are two routes to reach the lookout. The first is a set of stairs, offering a shorter and more direct path. Alternatively, you can take a longer route via the asphalt road.

The lookout is beautiful and the tourists have an opportunity to walk around it. There is also a café where visitors can sit and have a rest.

On the ground floor of the lookout tower, informational panels provide insight into the history of the structure. The tower features multiple levels, each offering a unique and impressive vantage point. As you ascend, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views.

In one direction, the building of Chairlift and Telekom's telecommunications tower is clearly visible. Visitors can enjoy the views of Budapest, as well as the nearby town of Budakeszi, which is an agglomeration city.

After the visitors admired the panorama, they can make their way back toward the Chairlift.
